Donor certificates for the symbolic adoption of a stone or seat

The Frauenkirche Dresden Foundation shows its appreciation of your commitment to the preservation of the church and the many and varied facets of its life in the form of a symbolic adoption of a stone or seat.

Adopt your »own« stone!

It is possible to symbolically adopt a stone following a donation of at least 300 €. The size of the stone varies according to the amount of your contribution – 300, 600, 1000 and 1500 €.

There are 5185 stones in the dome ceiling and in the aisles of the lower church wait-ing to be adopted. Using the plan of stones online, you can select the stone of your choice and reserve it directly by mouse click.

To thank you for your involvement you will receive:

  • a donor certificate
  • a site map showing the position of your symbolically adopted stone
  • a photograph of the Frauenkirche by the photographer Prof. Jörg Schöner on an A4 mount with embossment
  • an entry in your name in the digital register of donors
  • the brochure »Life in the Frauenkirche« three times yearly.  You are welcome to dedicate your symbolically adopted stone to your family, friends or a company or organization.

Adopt your »own« seat!

A brass nameplate on a seat in the Frauenkirche marks your commitment! With a donation of at least 2500 € you can symbolically adopt a seat in the third or fourth gallery, from 5000 € upwards a seat in a church pew in the first or second gallery.

With the online seating preview you can take time to look around inside the church from your home and try out your seat virtually. We will be glad to check whether the seat you selected is available.

To thank you for your involvement you will receive:

  • a donor certificate
  • a personalised brass nameplate on your seat plus a copy of the plate for you to keep at home
  • a site map of your symbolically adopted seat
  • a photograph of the Frauenkirche by the photographer Prof. Jörg Schöner on an A4 mount with embossment

You are welcome to dedicate your symbolically adopted seat to your family, friends or a company or organisation.
