With the rebuilding of the Frauenkirche there is not only one of the most important religious buildings in existence again, but also a church which is conscious of its obligation to foster its rich musical tradition tradition.

You can expect an extensive music offering in the Frauenkirche: from chamber music via performances of passions and oratorios to masses from the European music oeuvre.

Leading national and international ensembles appear as well as well-known choirs and soloists. Both great Dresden orchestras, the Sächsische Staatskapelle Dresden and the Dresden Philharmonic Orchestra, regularly make guest appearances.

The setting up and coordination of the programme lies with Dr. Ralf Ruhnau, Head of the concert division of the Frauenkirche Dresden.
