Literature in the Frauenkirche
The Frauenkirche regularly holds literary-musical evenings to which you are cordially invited. Thematically broadly compiled, literature is brought to life with the goal of giving impulse to your own reading. In choosing the texts, the element of peace and the work of reconciliation form the guiding principle and dominant theme. In addition, connections to the liturgical year (e.g. Epiphany, Passion Week, and Easter) and to biblical themes, are also part of the programme. At the appropriate time, a selected writer from the past will be remembered or there will invitations to renowned contemporary authors.
The readings, each of which will be presented with music, will take place on the first Thursday of the month at 20.00 hours in the Lower Church.
Access is via Entrance F. Admission is free. Reservations are not possible.
