Anglican church services
Once a month, usually every third Sunday at 6pm, the evening service is held as an Anglican church service in English. We warmly welcome people from near and far to attend this evening prayer.
Organized by Anglican ministers
The services are conducted by either Reverend Ricky Yates, Coordinator of English-language Anglican worship in Dresden, or by Anglican guest preachers.
This cooperation was made possible in 1988 by an agreement made in Meißen between the Evangelical Church in Germany and the Church of England, the so-called Meissen Agreement. According to this agreement, clergy from both churches can fulfill the tasks of their own offfice within the partner church.
A special offer in Dresden
There are 15 Anglican Church communities or missions in Germany. Dresden does not have its own Anglican community, but these services offer everyone who is part of this confession the opportunity to practice their faith.
