How to get there
The Frauenkirche at Dresden with its distinctive dome can be seen from afar. It is situated in the middle of the Altstadt on the Dresden Neumarkt very close to the Brühlschen Terrasse, the Akademie der Künste and the Kulturpalast.

The nearest tram and bus stops are
- „Altmarkt“ for tram lines 1, 2, 4
- „Pirnaischer Platz“ for tram lines 1, 2, 3, 4, 7, 12 and the bus lines 62, 75
From each stop, it takes only a few minutes on foot to the Frauenkirche.

The closest railway stations are Dresden Mitte (S-Bahn) and Hauptbahnhof (trains).
The Neumarkt is a traffic reduction zone. With the exception of some spaces for drivers with handicaps, there are no possibilities to park there. However, there are multi-storey car parks and uncovered parking areas nearby.
The Frauenkirche has seven entrances, each designated by a letter of the alphabet above the door. The relevant entrance is dependant upon which offer of the Frauenkirche you take advantage of. Normally, access to the nave is via Entrance D (Open Church, devotions, services).
