The Church Construction Administration is responsible for the preservation of the building of the Frauenkirche. Through the maintenance and servicing of technical systems, it also ensures the operational readiness of all events.

Since 1997, Thomas Gottschlich has served as the architect for the reconstruction of the Frauenkirche within the Building Directorate of the Frauenkirche Dresden Foundation and acted as the representative of the building director on-site. Since 2009, he has been responsible for the Church Construction Administration. Since 1999, he has been a member of the European Association of Cathedral Architects, Surveyors and Heads of Workshops.
