How does a wedding in the Frauenkirche work?

After the ringing of the wedding bell “Joshua” and the prayer bell “David”, the bride and groom move into the church with musical accompaniment. The bride and groom and the guests take a seat together in the chancel. During the festive service, the organ plays, and the pastor addresses a spiritual word to the couple before the scriptures about marriage are read out and the vows and the rings are exchanged. The congregation sings and prays for the couple and after the blessing, everyone leaves the church together.
