The Service of Nine Lessons and Carols is a cherished tradition of the Anglican Church and has also become a regular part of the annual calendar at Dresden's Frauenkirche. Nine Bible readings tell of promise and hope, interspersed with traditional English carols and choral music. The interplay of scripture and song creates a reflective atmosphere, inviting everyone to listen, sing along and pause for a moment of quiet contemplation.
--
Once a month, usually on the third Sunday, the evening service in the Frauenkirche is celebrated as an Anglican evening prayer in English. People from near and far are cordially invited.
