What does it mean to build a fair and humane digital future, and who gets a seat at the table when that future is being decided?
On 24 August, the historic Frauenkirche in Dresden opens its doors to a public conversation on artificial intelligence, bringing together young people, civil society, industry leaders and voices from the community to reflect together on the ethical weight of AI in our lives.
This event is designed as an open dialogue: speakers will share perspectives, but the floor belongs just much to everyone in the room.
Community members, students, faith groups and tech professionals are all warmly invited to listen and contribute their own experiences of living alongside increasingly intelligent machines. Set beneath the dome of a building that itself embodies destruction, memory, and rebuilding, the conversation will ask what values should guide AI as it reshapes work, information, and community life, and how trust, dignity, and responsibility can be protected as technology moves faster than our institutions.
